My dearest Liam,
I woke up this morning thinking of you and wishing you a wonderful day at school. I hope you have fun with your little friends and that you enjoy playing with the trucks.
I think back to when your dad was two and a half years old. He went to a wonderful little school called Miss Sandie’s in Novato, CA. He had so much fun riding the little bikes and playing with the trucks. Often, when it was time for me to pick Seth up, he would wave me away and tell me to come back later.
Your daddy loved playing outdoors. Time flies so fast, and I am so happy to spend time with you, Liam. You made me a grandma, and you have completely stolen my heart. I am forever grateful to have spent so much time with you during your baby year. I would come over on Sundays and spend all day Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with you.
We laughed, played, and hung out together. My favorite time was bedtime, when I would read you three books of your choice, and then it was snuggle time while I hummed your great‑grandpa’s favorite hymn, “How Great Thou Art,” and your great‑grandma’s favorite hymn, “In the Garden,” until you fell asleep. My heart is so full of love when I think of those times with you.
All my Love,
Nana Niecey
